However, there are a couple of scenarios where the check-in channel is received a Blank or Null. Usually, it comes from one of the following scenarios:
1) The channel field in the check-in table is coming over as Dashboard. This is rare and is usually identified during implementations.
2) When receiving a loyalty check-in record from the POS, if the record doesn't have any of the following fields populated, the check in type comes in as NULL: -external_UID, receeipt_image_file_name, bar_code, qr_coded
3) When you have performed manual gifting or double gifting campaigns were scheduled
