If you require a Qualification Criteria to qualify receipts that were done between a certain time range (i.e. from 2PM to 6PM), you can use the Receipt Hour receipt qualifier with the "between" operator to implement this criteria.
To correctly specify a time range using the Receipt Hour qualifier with the "between" operator, you should enter the time range in the following format (notice that hours should be specified in military time):
[Start Hour]..[End Hour - 1]
For example, if you'd like to specify a time range of 2PM to 6PM, you should enter "14..17" as the value for the "between" operator.
The reason you should subtract 1 from the End Hour is because Punchh specifies the End Hour down to the 59th minute. For example, inputting "17" as the End Hour actually means "17:59" for Punchh. So for the purposes of the "between" operator in the Receipt Hour qualifier, the example time range of 2PM to 6PM should be specified as 2PM to 5:59PM, which translates to "14..17" for the "between" operator.
**NOTE: Punchh considers the local time of the receipt as basis for evaluating the Receipt Hour receipt qualifier. When the QC evaluates the Receipt Hour receipt qualifier in a receipt, it reads the time sent in the receipt and then applies the "between" operator. This ensures that the Receipt Hour qualifier is enforced consistently using the local time of the location. This might create a situation where receipts from different locations and different time zones appear to have qualified outside of the time range specified by the Receipt Hour qualifier. However, this is caused by the Receipt Hour qualifier evaluating the receipt time using the local time zone. This is the intended functionality.
