The location noted in some entries in guest timelines are actually not the favorite location of the guest. The reason the test lab location appears in some entries is because it is the default location for the brand in case that any transaction cannot be assigned to any particular location. An example of such entry is the "Expired Redemption" entry, which appears in a guest timeline when the guest presses "Redeem" in their app but actually does not complete the redemption at the POS. Since the redemption was not used at any location and expired, Punchh attributes the expired redemption to the brand's default location.
