When a guest is "migrated", it means that the guest was imported into Punchh from another loyalty processor, including the guest's info and previous points. Such guests have the option to press "Migrate" or "Convert" in their app in order to create a new loyalty account under Punchh with their information from the previous loyalty processor.
If a guest is already registered as an eClub or Loyalty member, they do not need to press "Migrate" in their app. If they press "Migrate", guests might receive an "email already in use" error in the app, since their account already exists in Punchh.
If a guest is an eClub member, they can simply use the "Sign Up" button to convert their account from eClub to Loyalty. The guest should then be able to use the app to earn and redeem points and redeemables.
If a guest is already a Loyalty member, they can access the app by pressing "Log In" and entering their email and password credentials.
You can check the status of a guest in the platform by searching their email address in the search bar located in the top right:
If found, the status of the guest's account will show right below their name and email address inside their profile:
- If you see status "eClub", then the guest is an eClub member
- If you see status "Loyalty", or both "eClub" and "Loyalty", then the guest is a Loyalty member
