Why is the Punchh Developer Portal moving to a new platform?
On December 31, 2021, the current platform on which the Punchh Developer Portal (https://developers.punchh.com/) is hosted will be “end-of-lifed”, so migration to the new platform must be completed by the end of 2021.
When will migration of the Punchh Developer Portal be finished?
We expect migration of the Punchh Developer Portal to the new platform to be completed in early December 2021. The Punchh Developer Portal (https://developers.punchh.com/) will be unavailable December 3-6 during the cut-over from the current platform to the new platform.
Can the Punchh Developer Portal remain on the same platform?
No. The current platform on which the Punchh Developer Portal is hosted will be “end-of-lifed” on December 31, 2021, so migration to the new platform must be completed by the end of 2021.
What will happen to my existing user account on the Punchh Developer Portal? Will I have to create a new user account?
If you have a user account on the current Punchh Developer Portal platform, your account will be discontinued when we cut over to the new Punchh Developer Portal platform. When the cut-over to the new platform is completed, you will receive an invitation to create a new user account on the new platform. Your old user account will not work with the new platform.

How can I access the Punchh Developer Portal on the new platform?
The URL for the Punchh Developer Portal will not change. After migration to the new platform is completed, you will continue to go to https://developers.punchh.com/ to access the Punchh Developer Portal. You will need to log in with your new user account on the new platform.
Will there be downtime during the Punchh Developer Portal migration?
Yes. The Punchh Developer Portal (https://developers.punchh.com/) will be unavailable December 3-6, 2021, during the cut-over from the current platform to the new platform.

Will the Punchh Developer Portal look different on the new platform?
Yes. When you log in to the Punchh Developer Portal (https://developers.punchh.com/) with your new user account after migration to the new platform is completed, you will notice a significant change in the look and feel of the user interface. The organization, navigation, and search experiences will be different.
Will the existing content from the current Punchh Developer Portal platform be migrated to the new platform?
Yes. Most content from the current Punchh Developer Portal platform will carried over to the new platform. Some existing topics that are old/obsolete will not be migrated to the new platform.
Will my existing bookmarks for the current Punchh Developer Portal platform still work after migration to the new platform?
No. All existing links to topics in the Punchh Developer Portal will break. The URLs for topics in the new Punchh Developer Portal platform are different from the URLs for topics in the current platform. While the names of migrated topics will be the same in the new platform, the URLs for those topics will be different, so any bookmarks or links that point to topics in the current platform will break. You will need to create new bookmarks/links as needed to point to topics in the new platform. When migration to the new platform is completed, the main landing pages for each API category will be:
