Sometimes when looking at guest timelines you might notice that guests' redeemables are expiring at a different time than 11:59PM.
Example:
This is caused by the difference in time zones between the business time zone set up in Punchh and your current location time zone. Redeemables that are set to have a specific date expiration will always expire on the specified day at 11:59PM of the business time zone.
In the previous example, our current location time zone is CST. However, our example business time zone in Punchh is set to PDT. Therefore, redeemables will expire at 11:59PM PDT, which translates to 12:59AM CST (time shown in guest timelines).
If the business time zone is changed, then the redeemable time will change to the new time zone. In our previous example, if we change the business time zone from PDT to EDT, then redeemables will now expire at 11:59PM EDT (instead of 11:59PM PDT), which translates to 9:59PM CST.
For guests, the redeemables will expire in a similar manner, according to their current location time zone. In our previous example, if the business time zone is set to EDT, and a guest's location time zone is CST, then the guest will see her redeemable expire at 9:59PM CST, which translates to 11:59PM EDT.
