The Punchh Admin RN app is a tool that allows admin users to test the functionality of a brand's app, allowing them to switch between the sandbox and production versions of their app. If you need to point your live production app to the Sandbox/ testing environment for testing a new configuration or feature, please contact your Customer Success Manager. They will verify the scope of the project with our Technical Account Management team to get you credentials and access to the Punchh Admin RN, if applicable.
I have access to the Punchh Admin RN already. When I click in my brand, and then choose "Sandbox" option, why do I get the error "App not found"?
The Punchh Admin RN app needs the actual app from the brand already installed in your device. You would need to download your brand's app from the App Store/Play Store. Once your brand's app is installed in your device, go back to the Punchh Admin RN app, click on your brand, and then "Sandbox Secure". The Punchh Admin RN app will then launch your brand's app in your device, but in Sandbox version.
- You must have an Admin profile in the Production environment of your brand, then use that profile to login into the Punchh Admin RN app
- Once you switch your brand's app to the Sandbox version, it will remain in Sandbox version until you go back to the Punchh Admin RN app and change your brand's app to Production version.
- Guests from Sandbox and Production are separate. If you are testing in Sandbox for the first time, you need to create a new guest in order to test the functionality of the app.
- The Punchh Admin RN app is only compatible with apps that were developed by Punchh. Apps developed by 3rd parties will not be able to be tested with the Punchh Admin RN.
