Pay with Venmo 1. Applicable items are added to a new transaction 2. To pay with the Venmo App the guest shows the POS Operator the “Show to Pay” QR Code from Venmo. 3. The POS Operator selects the Venmo tender on the POS. 4. POS Operator scans the Guest’s Venmo QR Code from the Venmo App. 5. After the payment has been accepted, the transaction is closed and the POS returns a success message. | |
Pay with Venmo, Partial Payment 1. Applicable items are added to a new transaction 2. The POS Operator MUST pay partial portion with alternative payment type first before processing Venmo Payment for remaining balance. For example, if a guest is paying a portion in Cash and the rest with Venmo, the POS Operator must process the Cash payment first. 3. After the POS Operator applies the first payment to the check then they can take Venmo payment. 4. The Guest shows the POS Operator the “Show to Pay” QR Code from the Venmo App. 5. POS Operator selects the Venmo tender on the POS. 6. POS Operator scans the Guest’s Venmo QR Code from the Venmo App. 7. After the payment has been accepted, the transaction is closed and the POS returns a success message. | |
Pay with Venmo- loyalty applied to the check 1. Applicable items are added to a new transaction 2. The POS Operator performs a guest lookup using the guest's Phone Number, Email Address, or scans their QR Code. 3. After a successful lookup, the Guest is applied to the transaction as a loyalty member. 4. The Guest shows the POS Operator the “Show to Pay” QR Code from the Venmo App. 5. POS Operator selects the Venmo tender on the POS. 6. POS Operator scans the Guest’s Venmo QR Code from the Venmo App. 7. After the payment has been accepted, the transaction is closed and the POS returns a success message. | |
Pay with Venmo- loyalty + redemption on the check 1. Applicable items are added to a new transaction 2. The POS Operator performs a guest lookup using the guest's Phone Number, Email Address, or scans their QR Code. 3. The guest tells the POS Operator which reward to redeem, and the operator selects it on the POS. 4. Discount is applied to the transaction. 5. Guest is applied to the check as a loyalty member. 6. The Guest shows the POS Operator the “Show to Pay” QR Code from the Venmo app for payment. 4. POS Operator selects the Venmo tender on the POS. 5.
