The Punchh team is making changes to ensure the Punchh Platform is secure for all admin users. As a part of Punchh’s ongoing efforts to keep the Punchh Platform secure, all Platform users will now be required to enable MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication).
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of security to your account during the login process to prevent someone who isn’t you from accessing it, even if they have your password. When MFA is enabled, a secondary temporary code is needed when logging in to the Punchh Platform, which only you will have access to receive.
- All Punchh Platform users will be required to enable MFA by February 25, 2021.
- At this time, the only option for enabling MFA will be via using a 3rd party authentication app.
- Any Punchh Admin user who does not have MFA already enabled may need to reach out to admins at your brand for assistance to access their account and set up MFA.
For instructions on how to enable MFA please review this article: How do I enable Multi-Factor Authentication in the Punchh platform?
