This happens when the business is Points based loyalty program and points convert to banked reward along with the Membership levels.
When the membership level is upgraded and points are converted to banked reward at the same time then two things happen
- Membership level is upgraded as soon as the points are credited and the guest reaches the goal set for it.
- The conversion of points to banked reward takes a few more micro seconds and then notification is sent.
As the notification is sent after the membership level is upgraded then the reward value is for the upgraded membership instead of the actual membership at the time of the check-in.
To rectify this issue, the account tag {{{bank_value}}} should be replaced by the another tag {{{current_banked_reward}}} in the Notification template description.

- {{{bank_value}}} - When a guest has hit a reward value threshold, this tag will display the bank goal that has been reached.
- {{{current_banked_reward}}} - Monetary amount of the reward earned
