In cases, where the conversion rate is $1=1 point, it works as expected. However, where the conversion rate is more than 1 point in the earning criteria of the business, it gifts bonus points as per the Earning QC processed value and does not consider the conversion rate.
If we use the below formula to set the Gift points (Multiplying factor), we will get the correct amount of bonus points credited on the QC processed value.
Gifted Points = QC Processed value (After rounding) (Multiplying factor (gift points section) - 1)
For example, the base conversion rate is set to $1=10 Points
QC's processed value is 9.50 (receipt sub-total amount) and the multiplying factor configured in the double points campaign is 11.
= 10 (After rounding 9.50)*11-1
= 10*10
= 100 Points will be credited to the guest from the campaign
We took 11 to be the fixed points factor as we want to multiply the Qc processed value with 10 (conversion rate) i.e. 11-1 = 10.
Please be informed, it works fine where bonus points are getting credited on the full purchase amount. But where the QC processed value is used, you need to use the gift points formula to award as per the base conversion rate.
