Multiple Punching error occurs on a guest's Timeline when they attempt to check in using more than the number of receipts set by your business rules based on Receipt Time. For example, below you can see the Checkin Rate Limit setting that says guests cannot earn on more than 3 receipts that are within 4 hours of each other.
NOTE: This applies on Receipt Time so a guest that went to business between 8 am and 12 pm four separate times will be unable to earn on the fourth receipt even if they try to earn on the fourth receipt after 12 pm.
The example below shows a test account that successfully earned on three receipts within the 4 hour period but received the Multiple Punching error when trying to earn on the fourth. The error message will tell you when the last checkin was in GMT time. In this case, it shows 16:27:16 GMT - 0400 which is 4:27:16 pm CDT. The error message will also tell you that the receipt falls under in the 4 hour period as well as the Receipt Time the current receipt that gave the error was generated at which in the example below shows as 16:40:00 UTC which is 12:40 pm EDT. The successful checkins show the time to be within the same 4 hour period.
