When the "Redemption not possible since the amount is 0." error appears in the redemption logs as seen below. This is generally because the items Punchh is attempting to discount are passing the Qualification Criteria for the reward but Punchh by default will discount the least expensive item on the check (to benefit the client).
- The least expensive item on the check-in the Line Item Selector happens to be $0.00 dollars.
- In this case, no discount can be applied and the following error occurs:
"Invalid", "Redemption not possible since amount is 0" in the response".
Note: When testing the menu item string in the Qualification Criteria testing function it will Qualify but for a Process Value or 0 or Null:
