When creating a Qualification Criteria, the Target Price for a Bundle processing function can be used to bring a few menu items on a receipt to one adjusted bundle price.
The adjusted bundle price is set in the Target Unit Price field:
The Line Item Filters are used to select the applicable menu items you would like to discount using the bundle price. The chosen Line Item Selectors are used to specify the menu item IDs/groups the bundle should work with.
If multiple menu items are valid for selection by the Line Item Selector, the filter will choose the first qualifying item found.
In this example, we're looking to select one of the qualifying menu items to be discounted by the Target Unit Price:
If the menu item for 9286 is valued at $0 and menu item 9901 valued at $5 is also on the check, the 9286 item will be targeted by the processing function for discounting and return a $0 processed value. This occurs due to the function looking for the first qualifying menu item regardless of its value.
In order to have the Target Price for a Bundle work as expected, please ensure that ONLY the items meant to be discounted in the bundle are present in the Line Item Selector used in the Line Item Filters section.
