This error occurs when OLO is attempting to send an order from your app to Toast. Depending on the configuration of your app, a guest may be required or not required to input a phone number in their profile/ account information. However, if your app does not require the guest to enter a phone number as a mandatory field upon sign up, OLO will require the guest to enter a phone number at the shopping cart level for each transaction in order to pass it to Toast successfully.
If the guest does not enter a phone number in their cart, the order will fail with the below error:
Error Message: 'Rejected by the store.' POST. Status Code: BadRequest. Rejected by Toast: Customer phone cannot be empty. ' |
Toast allows for a report of failed orders to be exported. Instances of this error will appear on the report.
