Setting a promo code campaign to 'Unlock rewards on Mobile App' makes it possible to limit the number of times a guest redeems this code on a particular device. With this setting, the reward must be unlocked in the guest's account first thus binding the reward to the account.
- To configure this for a promo campaign, go to Campaigns > Offer > Promo > New Campaign. On the Whom page of the campaign (step 2), select 'Unlock rewards on Mobile App' during the promo code setup.
'Unlock Rewards on Mobile App' Options:
1. Use(s) per Guest - Select how many times a guest may unlock/use the promo code. If set to "0", the guest may use the code every time they log in.
2. Gift Type - For gift type, you must choose from Gift Points or Gift Redeemable. Any additional limitations can be built into the Qualification Criteria for the redeemable you wish to generate using the promo code.
3. Once per Device? - Limits promo code usage to only one gift/reward per device. This will prevent abuse when guests create multiple accounts on the same device.
