Why does a post check in campaign contain a segment and a location / location group filed both?
If a segment is defined in a post checkin campaign, then notifications will be sent to the entire segment regardless of how the post checkin campaign is limited by location or location group.
The Punchh platform contains a disclaimer when choosing the applicable location or group stating the same on step 2 during setup:
Please select if the campaign is applicable to all locations, a specific location or a location group within the business. If a segment is selected, notifications are going to be sent to all guests within the segment and not just guests selected with this location eligibility.
