If this happens with a deactivated recurring campaign, this is generally due to the duplicate campaigns not deactivated. These need to be deactivated manually along with the original campaign.
When the original campaign activates, it immediately duplicates the original campaign x1 for each Recurrence: date and places these in the system in the background.
- These are set to begin processing on the dates selected for the recurrence at the specified time.
- To access these duplicates simply click on the dates in the Recurrence: tab in the campaign.
It is also a good idea to make sure the campaign schedule is deactivated. The schedules for the campaign can be found if you go to Support > Schedules > under Schedule Type > Mass Campaign Schedules. The campaign schedule from the list should be pink If this was properly deactivated.
