If you set up a Post Checkin Offer campaign gifting multiple points only for specific items in the attached Line item Selector and it is gifting the wrong amount of points. Please check below:
- Make sure to check the "Use qualification criteria processed value for earn points calculation?" flag on the first page of the campaign setup. This will ensure that the gifted points only apply to the items in the Line Item Selector.
- When checking this flag It only takes the original check-in points from these specific items in the Line Item Selector into account. It will not take into account the "Base Conversion Rate to Points" for the business as this only applies to normal check-ins.
Note: This only applies to 4 processing functions in the qualification criteria: Sum of Amounts, Sum of Quantities, Maximum Unit Price and Minimum Unit Price.
Note: This only applies if your business uses a "Base Conversion Rate to Points" is $1=10 points vs $1=1 point. There is a workaround for this as seen in the example below.
eg. if you want 2x points for these specific items and your conversion rate is $1=10 points make the gift points 11. If you wish to credit 3x points then change the Gift Points to 21 and this will multiply the processed value and credit bonus points accordingly.
Note: If this flag is unchecked it will gift multiple points for every item on the check and ignore the Line Item Selector in the Line item Filters, it will, however, take the businesses"Base Conversion Rate to Points" into account because it is processing the full check like a normal check-in as seen below.
