If you have recently installed or upgraded a site to Toast V3 and receive the following error when trying to enter a phone number to look up a valid loyalty account.
Sometimes this is caused by Loyalty provider data not being saved properly when the restaurant goes live, causing the POS to not know who the location's loyalty provider is. If you run into this error after a new installation of Toast V3 please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are seeing this error after the location has been working as intended, please check Settings > Locations > select location > POS > and check the POS Type selected. For Toast V3, this should be blank.
