Generally, this happens when,
- When a guest sign-up through the web version of the loyalty program, he/she enters the phone number along with hyphens(-). These guests when login with the app, receive a "Verify details" screen where they will be prompted to enter the phone number again.
- Once the guest enters the details along with the phone number (without hyphens) in the app, it will save the details for that app session but it would not be updated in our database. Thus, when a guest will open the app (next time), he/she will again receive the Verify details screen and would be asked to enter/verify the phone number.
- This happens because our app doesn't support the hyphens in the phone number field.
As the guest has saved the phone number along with hyphens while signing up through the web version, he/she is receiving verify details screen whenever he launches the app.
In such cases, remove the phone number from the guest's profile via the Punchh platform and ask the guest to login and verify the details again. This will resolve the issue with the screen.
