You cannot send your test notifications or emails from a Post Checkin Offer Campaign directly from the campaign setup screen. This is because Post Checkin Offer Campaigns are meant to only activate after check-in.
To test campaigns of this type follow the 4 steps below:
1. Make sure you are included in the segment attached to the campaign
2. In the Punchh portal go to Support > Test Barcodes
3. Enter a valid date and a min/maximum receipt amount that is valid for earning in the campaign as well as any other required details for a transaction receipt to be valid for the Post Checkin Offer Campaign then select generate at the bottom.
NOTE: any menu item ID listed in the Menu Item field will be treated as a Base Item and given a price point. This is important to consider when you are trying to test a campaign that is set up to target a Modifier Item that in reality has a $0.00 price point.
4. Scan one of these generated test barcodes into the app to check-in the test receipt you can also check in a valid receipt from a POS System if available then you should receive the Post Checkin Offer Campaign.
