First, remove the punchhInter.dll and punchhPrt.dll.:
- If Iber.exe or iberqs.exe is running on the back of house (BOH) computer, stop it. After the instance of Iber.exe or iberqs.exe has been stopped on the BOH computer you may proceed with the uninstall.
NOTE: The Punchh apps may still reside on the terminals due to Aloha copying them prior to running the control panels uninstall
Next, remove the Punchh apps from the POS Terminals.
Once Iber.exe or iberqs.exe has been stopped, manually delete the 4 apps listed below. Once removed, you can restart iber.
If you do not have access to the Front of House bin folder, please contact your network admin.
If your site uses a SyncInclusionList.cfg file, then remove the Punchh files listed above and refresh the terminals. This will purge the terminal's bin folder and copy just the files listed in this file.
- If Punchh needs to be removed during business hours, using the SyncInclusionList.cfg may be the easiest option to employ. Once the Punchh entries are remarked out, just refresh the terminals or wait until End of Day to run.
Depending on other applications running on the back office computer (Takeout, online ordering, etc.), iber.exe or iberqs.exe may be required to run continuously. This may prevent the Punchh .dll files (punchhInter.dll and punchhPrt.dll) from uninstalling on the FOH terminals. Temporarily stopping these applications will stop iber.exe or iberqs.exe so Punchh may be uninstalled.
