This error may happen when clients are attempting to do a lookup for a customer at the POS. In these scenarios, it is usually one or two specific customers that can't be looked up, while others can.
- The error indicates an issue with duplicate phone numbers on different profiles in Punchh.
- The other profile may be banned or de-activated, so you may need to search via phone, email or name to find the duplicate account.
- Once you find the duplicate account, you can re-activate it, remove the phone number, update and de-activate the profile.
- At this point, you should have only one account with the unique phone number, and the POS Lookup by Phone number will successfully pull up the guest.
