Ideally, you would want to test email coupons on a smaller scale before sending them to guests. When you are testing a mass notification attached to a coupon campaign, for a coupon that isn't live yet, you will receive the following in the email:
- This is a placeholder, as the coupon campaign's start date has not been reached. Once it has, or has gone live, these emails will include the actual coupon code and QR code to be scanned.
- Similarly, a coupon that has gone past the end date of the coupon campaign will receive "Expired" text over the QR code, indicating that the coupon is no longer valid.
