When you create a redeemable, you can set an amount of days or an explicit date for it to expire. By default, when you create a redemption code(stage), this countdown can extend past the expiry, so that it will still be honored if it is already staged. This can be setup as follows:
- On step 3 of your redeemable setup, you will want to make sure the "Allow Redemption Code expiry on Reward's end date?" box to be unchecked if you would like it to still be honored, based on the countdown expiry, after the expiry.
- In order to have the redeemable unavailable after the expiry, even if the guest has already staged it, you can check this box in stage 3 of the redeemable settings.
- Note: If you want it checked, and want the redeemable to expire even when staged, you will need to set a countdown expiry. If you do not set a countdown expiry, this setting will not work, correctly, and the redeemable will stay staged, almost indefinitely.
