Occasionally, services in Windows can be interrupted or closed by other programs or services, updates, etc. Setting the service to automatically restart after a failure will ensure that the Punchh proxy service will be started again after such an interruption. Here's how:
- Make sure that the Punchh proxy service is properly installed and functions normally.
- In Windows, click the Start button at the bottom left, and search for Services, and press enter.
- Find the service named Punchh proxy, right-click on it, and click Properties from the contextual menu.
- Click on the Recovery tab, and you will be able to choose to restart the service after 1st, 2nd, and 3rd failure. Click "Apply" or "OK". Note: The "Restart service after:" setting will let you delay the start of the service so that any upstream programs or services will be running first.
