A Checkin is one of the fundamental pieces of a Loyalty Program; the Checkin is what allows Guests to Earn Points, Redeemables, Currency, or Banked Rewards. Each business has the ability to allow different types of Check-ins, they can be performed using the following methods.
Online Order - A Guest can Checkin by placing an Online Order thru the App, in order for a Guest to utilize this method of Checkin the business as to have implemented and configured Online Ordering.
POS - A Guest can Checkin by providing their email address/phone number associated with their Loyalty Account to the cashier directly at the POS.
Web - A Guest can Checkin by logging in to their Loyalty Account via the iFrame (business website) and placing an order. iFrame & Online Order have to be implemented and configured for a Guest to use this method.
Mobile - A Guest can Checkin by scanning the receipt they receive from their transaction into the app, this is usually the most common method used by Guests.
Dashboard/Other - A Guest can Checkin by using the POS Console and Chatbot. The POS Console is no longer used by most businesses.
