When setting up your campaign, you have the ability to include Deep Links; these will allow you to create campaigns with direct links to other areas of the app(e.g. a "Go to Offers" button that will take the guest directly to their in-app offers). If set up incorrectly, it will just fallback to the App Store, as in the below video:
This issue can be quickly resolved for future/ongoing campaigns using the following steps:
- Navigate to Campaigns, and edit a future/ongoing campaign or create a new one.
- On the second page, labeled "Whom", scroll down to Rich Message - Call to Actions.
- If you choose the "Deep Link" type, you will need to use a Deep Link tag, as pictured above(these are listed elsewhere on our help center).
- If you choose Internal or External weblink, it is expecting the corresponding URL, not a Deep Link tag.
NOTE: Having these fields match will resolve the base issue and redirect within the app. It will send you to the App Store if the link field does not correspond to the type.
