Sending SMS messages to guests is done to quickly inform a guest of a new offer that is forthcoming. These messages are usually not long in length.
One SMS will allow a total of 160 characters if the message is longer than 160 characters a total of 1600 characters can be used in a message. When the message is over 160 characters the SMS will be delivered as an MMS as one message.
