If the points total is not showing on a "checkin updated" notification, make sure and check the earning settings with your CSM to make sure that checkins through a particular channel are set to go to pending. Checkin totals can only show as notifications when going from pending status to updated, so if they aren't set as a pending channel initially, the notification will be sent without a value. The guest will earn the points, but the notification value will be null.
For example, if a guest scans a receipt on their phone but the business is only set to allow for Pending checkins for online ordering, then the guest still will receive a Push Notification from checking in, but the points total will not display as updated in the PN since the order did not originate online.
