Activity Detection rules flag users who check in many times over a designated period of days. This is aimed at preventing users from checking-in based on proximity without actually making a purchase.
In order to set up an Activity Detection rule:
- Open the Punchh Platform and navigate to Settings > Activity Detection Rules
From here you can set the # of visits in accordance with the # of days to trigger this rule.
Once configured, you will see "Suspicious Activity" on any user's timeline who has visited more than the designated threshold.
