This may occur if the proxy service and terminals are NOT communicating. this may be due to one of the following:
1. The proxy service is stopped or has been removed from the back of house (boh).
2. The port 8008 may be blocked on the boh.
3. The ip address is not the correct IP for the boh's aloha network card.
Here are the instructions on how to make sure everything is running:

Make sure the Punchh Proxy service is actively running on the file server in the BOH. Restart if it is not running. This is done by navigating to the computer services on the file server and looking to see if Punchh Proxy is running or stopped.
The remaining steps will need to be done by the person(s) with admin access to your sites network setup.
