When the barcode settings in Revel are not set correctly, the guests will receive the following error when they try to scan or manually enter barcodes from their receipts.
This error mainly occurs because the barcode being scanned is not a Punchh barcode. Punchh uses EAN 13 barcode. The barcode settings in Revel's Management may be set to a different 'Barcode Standard' (E.g: UPC-A) and not EAN 13.
In this case, please contact Revel POS support team and ask them to confirm the 'Barcode Standard' is set to EAN-13 in their Management Console Settings.
Once these changes are made by Revel, refresh the POS station and run a test transaction to scan the barcode. This should resolve the issue.
