The PosiTouch POS will cause the system to freeze if the cashier is hitting the wrong loyalty button to redeem the free item the guest would like to use.
In the screenshot provided below, the cashier is hitting the 'Loyalty' button and not 'Loyalty
Redeem' button in order to use Punchh Loyalty.
If the system freezes, we recommend restarting the system and running a new transaction to apply Punchh Rewards.
In order to apply Punchh redemptions,
a. Ring in an order
b. Go to take payment and touch CC AUTH
c. Enter the card number and touch ENTER
d. Choose LOYALTY REDEEM on the left
The redemption will be applied to the check successfully not causing the system to freeze.
