If you find a situation where a guest did not receive a marketing email that was sent shortly after re-subscribed, this is likely the result of the email attempting to be sent prior to the change being completed in SendGrid.
When a guest is re-subscribed to marketing emails, Punchh communicates this change to SendGrid so that SendGrid knows to begin sending messages to the guest. However if the re-subscribe and sending email actions are taken close enough together, it is possible that the change has not completed processing in SendGrid which results in the email to the guest still being Dropped.
If you find yourself in the described situation, not additional action is needed. Please allow 5 minutes to pass to allow the change to fully process in the system, then attempt to send the email to the guest once again.
