Whenever a user clicks on the redeem button i.e. request a redemption, the app sends user's latitude and longitude to the server. So if the device location is enabled and the user has allowed location access to the app, then as per the user’s latitude-longitude, the nearest location shows for redemption.
This is the reason that when you clicked on Redemption the email includes the nearest location instead of the favourite location stored in user profile.
These notifications are triggered from the Notification template User Redemption, which sends message to the user when they request a redemption. You can modify the notification template if you do not wish to show the location name in the message.
