When leveraging the Punchh API to create eClub guests, you may encounter an error that states "The app returned "Invalid source! Please check configuration for valid source.” If you receive the error, you will want to sign in to Punchh and navigated to Whitelabel > iFrame Configuration > eClub Widget and reference the eClub Source field.
This field is used to designate the source of the API call that is creating the guest account, and may be left blank for brands that do allow guests to sign up for eClub through multiple sources.
When an eClub Guest API call is made, it must be an identical match to the contents of the eClub Source field, including capitalization. If this field is blank for your brand, the source field should be removed from the API call entirely.
