Redemption Mark is the number of points needed to fill up a card or leads to conversion.
Suppose a business whose loyalty structure is "Points to Reward" and redemption mark is set as 50, then at every 50 points earned the guest would receive a reward.
Whereas the Card Redemption Mark is only used for display purpose. This field defines the max range at which point reset happens for the guest. The point meter available on guest timeline and in app is based on the value configured in Card redemption mark.
For the above example, if Card redemption mark is set as 200, then at every 50 points guest would receive the reward however their points meter would reset after 200 points.
For businesses with membership tiers, if each tier has same redemption mark, then the same value would be taken into account when calculating the Current points on card.
Example for each membership tier guest receive reward for every 50 points earned, then the brand could use this segment to target guest whose current points balance is between 40 - 50 and leverage them to make a purchase and earn reward.
However if the redemption mark for each tier is different, then the lowest value of redemption mark would be taken into account.
