If a guest is getting the message "Please ask cashier to credit points for your purchase" when trying to select a location to scan a receipt on the app to earn points, this means that the particular location has the Validation Type set to Business Generated. This is intended for non-POS integrated locations. If the location in question is POS integrated, you can head to Settings > Locations > select location > POS to remove the Validation Type so that the location uses the business settings.
