In some cases, campaigns may process targeting zero guests despite having an attached segment that contains more guests. This can happen when campaign is set to target a new segment that has not yet fully populated. This is why, when viewing or editing segments, you may see the notification "If a segment is created or modified, it might take some time to reflect the data." as is pictured below
In order to ensure that your campaign processes targeting the right number of guests, you can check the following:
- Prior to attaching to a campaign, view the segment you plan to use and verify that it has the correct segment size
- When attaching a segment to a campaign, verify that the potential reach matches the segment size
Note: When attaching a complex segment to a campaign, the potential reach will not display. This is expected behavior.
