When a guest stages or has a reward expire, a location is reflected and sometimes a location will be displayed that is not a location the Guest visits or has visited in the past. This setting is based on whether a Headquarters Location has been configured within Punchh. See What's the difference between staged or unstaged redemption codes? for more details on reward staging.
If no HQ has been set within Punchh, this is the reason why a random location is reflected when a Guest stages a reward or has it expired.
Clients do not have the necessary permissions in order to adjust this particular configuration and in order to have this adjusted a ticket needs to be submitted to Support or have your CSM update the location.
Note: This will not have any effect on the functionality of the reward and guests will still be able to redeem it at the location of their choice (if there are no location restrictions on the reward).
If further assistance is required, submit a ticket to Punchh Support. (For help submitting a ticket, click here)
