If a guest gifts a gift card to another guest that is not yet a loyalty member, the guest without the loyalty account will automatically receive the gift card once they sign up with the email used to gift.

There will be a notice that says "Success! There is no guest associated with this email. Please ask them to sign up with [email used to gift].
The guest that gifted the gift card will receive an email letting them know that the recipient is not a loyalty guest. This depends on the Notification Template Gift Card Gifted being enabled and the tag {{#gifting_unsuccesssful?}} being configured. Note: Verbiage on what the email says depends on what is configured.
The recipient guest will receive an email letting them know that they have been gifted and that they need to download the app to automatically receive the gift card. This depends on the Notification Template Gift Card Unregistered User being enabled. Note: Verbiage on what the email says depends on what is configured.
Note: If the recipient creates an account too quickly (less than a minute) from the time the transaction completed, they will need to close the app from the background and relaunch it.
